Physician profiling: We have over 12 years experience working with ETG’s, ACG’s and MEG’s to produce physician profiling and episodes of care analysis.
Custom data extraction and data warehousing: One of our primary services is to build custom data warehouses for clients either hosted by us, or in house. For organizations that already have a “warehouse”, we can provide services to improve an existing warehouse and add missing ancillary data to it (rx, lab, visions, etc.). This could include design techniques to make the warehouse more suitable for reporting and analysis projects.
Data Networks and Servers: We have been contracted in the past to provide high level Database Administration consulting and management. For example, coordinating an upgrade of servers, networks, software and oracle release points for a customer’s data warehouse platform (Carolina Care Plan).
Management reporting: Rick Sigler is often brought in by senior management to provide consulting and reporting for one time high level projects. Some examples include: Cost and Revenue reporting to assist in Rate setting, network development or capitation negotiations. Analysis of claims for a possible plan acquisition. Provide raw data to contracted actuaries for plan design projects.
Conversion of data from various formats: We spend a lot of time helping customers convert incoming and outgoing data into formats that can be used by the various players. Our data experience includes:
DST/MHC, Amisys, powerMHS, Eldorado (healthpac), RIMS, ANSI 837, XML, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Ingenix, Unix, PICK, Universe, EBCIDIC, ASCII, Microsoft Access, Foxpro.
